LOL - yet people tithe to businesses called "Churches"........in the end, people are greedy and protect their own over everything else.

As others have said, the answer is dependent on how much money you make.

If I made 1 million, I'd be comfortable with only 850k.

    If I made 100k, I don't think I'd be comfortable with only 85k.

I'm nowhere near a multi-millionaire and I am fairly neutral on the Hong Kong situation, but as a Rockets fan if I were offered a job that pays 20% more but I had to lick LeBron's nuts and say Rockets suck all the time, I would say no to that job.

If you think there are only "a handful" or "a few idiots" who are racist and xenophobic among the Hong Kong protesters, you are completely mistaken.

Someone is triggered. Ever heard of "putting your money where your mouth is"? Never mind 15% of your income, what have the outraged defenders of freedom on this board done regarding Hong Kong other than spewing hate online?!

I hear you. But I don't know how certain that would be, cause everything is relative. I think about my first job when I made 30k, I thought how great it would be if I made like 40k; later when I made 60k I thought how great it would be if I made 80k...Now I love my job and everyone I work with and make way more than and love my job but if I was asked to take 15% pay cut I would be pretty mad. Although I am already in so much better position than when I first started.

Also think about Syrian refugees and HK protesters. They both say they are desperate. HK protesters obviously have way much more than Syrian refugees, they are basically the "millionaires" in that realm but as u can see it doesn't just magically get simpler. 15% is 15%, I think base number do matter but I don't think it makes a night and day difference.

What if I told you your 15% number is random. It’s more like 8.5%, if you are talking about the nba cap. Players only get half that.

fwiw: 8.5% is same as sales tax.

But 15% makes for a more explosive thread title and poll, I suppose.

That's not black face. That's literally a print out of LeBron's face. HKrs chanting "F%%% OFF James!" isn't racist. It's saying LeBron James doesn't support their movement for freedom. He's basically taking the side of the communist Chinese government because he's greedy.

Talk about not thinking of other people..

Think of the billion strangers, not your 450 millionaire pals.

    Support Morey.. down with LeBron!

If I am making 100,000,000 a year I would gladly give up 15% to stand on what is right, and that isn't just limited to Hong Kong but across the world. To be in a positions to not have to consider self poverty to be able to align your actions with your beliefs must be an amazing feeling.

Focus. It has nothing to do with LeBron using his freedom of speech. He his using his influence to seek retribution and punishment on Morey for using his right to freedom of speech.

    LMFAO

Xenophobia is a two way street between Hong Kong and mainland China. It isn't reserved only for Hong Kong. There is a lot of disdain in mainland China for those in Hong Kong.

Do those in mainland China REALLY want to play the "who is more racist game"? I lived in China and am fully aware of just how racists and xenophobic Chinese can be.

So everyone sees what you are trying to do.......
