Yeah I want to know about this too.
In South East Asia and East Asia people regularly make fun and joke with Nazism.

In India there are Hitler shops and in Japan young people send swastikas to each other as greetings and dress their idols in nazi customes for "fashion".

They obviously have no knowledge at all about WW2 history and learn nothing about it in schools.

I want to know if it is the same with China schools.

Yeah...companies like Cisco had a hand in building that monster. Silicon Valley loves big opportunity.

Maybe one day when we hit the borders of our wall, you can teach us how to use Tor and pgp signed emails...

Just here to point out that the world history we are taught in the US definitely excludes a lot of Eastern empires, especially China and India. Our view of world history is heavily dominated by the cultures that came under the influence of the Roman Empire and their decendants.

So while they probably don't get as much historical context as we do, we definitely kind of ignore their history, which is a shame considering how old the Chinese civilization is.

(other than some Romance of the Three Kingdoms video games maybe)

unfortunately .freedom of art is worse now .
Liu is safe bcuz his novel doesn't portray the fighting of big political leaders (such as Mao ,Mao'swife, Lin Biao ,vice chairman Liu shaoqi ,minister of foreign affair Zhou enlai) during cultural revolution .
Mao initiated cultural revolution .but in our history textbook we blame vice chairman Linbiao and Mao 's wife(big 4 bad guys四人帮) ,which are die hard fans of Mao ,
“three body problem” published in 2006 ,it is lucky for the author

of course we learn world history ,world history won't threaten communist party 's reign (if communist party tell truth),but history textbook content since 1921 china communist party established ,it features communist party how to protect china ,save china ,defeat Japanese ,defeat corrupted Chiang kai shek ,they dodge the evil of communist and exaggerate the credit.
they dodge the fact 30,000,000+ poors died for hungery (including my grandpa)in 1960s ,10 times of Nanking massacre .
they blame bad weather for the hunger in 1960s.
(the true reason is low efficient of communist and heavy tax)

I learned on the Youtubes that Guam is an Asian tourist destination because of their American stores and lax border rules for visiting there.

How expensive would that be to go there?
