The are they / aren't they strikes seems to have him really questioning himself which in turn seems to have him actually not seeing the ball well.

Strike straight down the middle, you miss fine, but you should at least foul tip.

He needs to practice some meditation or something lol.

You have to sit Yordan...Diaz is the better option at DH

Yordan looks like ****. He's not able to square anything up. I know he's a rookie, but damn is he causing us to miss prime opportunities.

At this point, I'd rather have Diaz hit than Alvarez.

need to replace Alvarez with Diaz, either putting Diaz in the outfield or DH (with Brantley)

Agreed. Make the pitchers try to blow one by him on the inside and not make a mistake. They've been pitching him outside for well over a month now. Teams learn and adjust; I don't know why it even took them so long. Just by looking at the guy's stance, knowing nothing about him, I can tell that's good strategy, because he'll never reach it where he stands and where he's point. If he's not going to stride in the direction of the pitch like Altuve or wait the extra couple milliseconds to assess and use a faster swing like Bregman and Brantley, then you have no other choice but to put him in a position in the box where he can reach the ball with his normal swing.

Pitch carefully to Torres...pitch to DiDi or whatever his name is.
