Oh no i fully understand what freedom of speech is....

Morey exercises his freedom of speech - get hate by Chinese
Lebron exercises his freedom of speech - get hate by Americans
    LOL
    Hypocrisy at its BEST!

Hope you feel the same about Colin Kaepernick being unemployed. As long as you're being consistent -- unlike LeBron.

The messed up part about this is that Lebron's statement will do more harm to the NBA than Moreys.

    How?

Let's go through what is likely to happen now...

    1. Lebron gets demolished on Twitter (As is happening)
    2. If it continues to get worse, he begins to see his statements actually did him more harm than good.
    3. Makes some statement that will piss China off in order to save face...
You see that 3? He can't backtrack. The China v NBA situation explodes if he makes a statement like Morey.

This is why the NBA didn't want people speaking at all...because now he's going to be pressured into backpeddling and if China isn't pleased with that? This is Lebron here. The whole reason they wanted Morey punished is so people like Lebron understand the consequences of them speaking out.

You might be right, consider how many Americans trust Breitart.

Again, I might even agree with what you said here. Though we should also acknowledge that it is not uncommon or unreasonable that exercising freedom of speech could sometimes get people fired from work.

What did we ban because of LeBrons words? Did we ban the Lakers? Did we ban merchandise? We actually dont care that China is mad. It's alright to be mad at someone and disagree with their views. That's a healthy discourse.

    Harden stayed out of it?

"We apologize. You know, we love China. We love playing there," Harden said, per ESPN. "For both of us individually, we go there once or twice a year. They show us the most important love.

"We appreciate them as a fan base," Harden added. "We love everything there about them, and we appreciate the support that they give us individually and as [an] organization."

Still shaking my head at how LeBron approached this the way he did.

Less than 24 hours later, after Silver defended Morey, James said he's supporting Silver/NBA. So give him credit for reversing course so quickly on a very fluid situation.

Qing James on the other hand has had days to formulate a response that no one was asking for. And he came up with that?!?!? LMAO!!!

You make a good point, but hating everywhere are all the same, hating by words whether written here or on twitter or words that manifest into work or action or banned. All the same. Remember, your words, work and deeds are no difference when you speak of your intention.

Did he not said you had already commit sin by looking at the lady with fouls' thought.

The biggest misunderstanding out of all of this is that ' Morey spoke out "

yall, all he did was post an image ... which he promptly took down.

Its not like he left it up and answered questions from the press. Maybe his apology was a bit halfhearted, but he was probably in shock over how swiftly and drastically China reacted.

He may well have been uninformed. I dont care.

The nba and the players that play in it have made it clear that they dont want to press the issue right now. Sure, it looks like bowing down to china and is a bit hypocritical. But , i really only care about how this effects the Rockets .... and safe to say , we are boned.

Lebron is just saying what he thinks is the best decision for , as he would put it ," Lebron James." or does he not talk in the 3rd person as much anymore?

Lets just get the season on, I have a feeling we are gonna be very good.

    * on a side note , one of the good things about China being a blacklisted topic is that we dont have to hear the announcers talk about it every ****ing game. OR maybe they will ... cuz we are banned in china. Now for our broadcast team, I bet Bill Worrell slips up before Christmas lol.

LeBron threw passive aggressive shots at Morey about “Stop letting nerds tell you how to play basketball", and Morey responded by baiting LeBron to comment on a geopolitical firestorm that ultimately got LeBron to completely ruin his image in America that he so desperately covets.

    Chess not checkers.

I honestly thought he just came out of a Chinese re-education camp with that statement he made lol. No idea how his team thought this was a good idea.

Outside of this HK/China controversy, LeBron seems to be taking any chance he can get to take shots at Morey/the Rockets.

Remember when Houston sat Melo indefinitely and he was "frustrated" at Melo getting scapegoated?

Morey trading Lebron's Banana Boat Buddy Chris Paul to OKC wouldn't have gone down well either.

Would he have been so eager to attack Morey if these things didn't happen? Yeah probably, he's proven to be a greedy ******* that puts money above everything else but it's a hell of a coincidence.
