    Title needs amending.

High school educated James: MIT grad Morey wasn't educated on situation.

Thanks the MODs in advance for the correction.

Actually a little surprised more NFL or MLB guys hasn't gotten in on this since the China money is irrelevant for them it's free publicity for them and free points.

He'll only be able to afford 20 McLaren P1s instead of 30.

How is he going to feed his children?

    LOL! I’m so enjoying this.

Who gets madder and more indignant, the Chinese or the people here? And who’s accusing the other side harder? It’s genuinely funny to watch.

Yeah I agree.... that’s why LeBron shouldn’t have spoke on the topic... he choose to.

Isn't there rumors out there that he was very vocal to Adam Silver about wanting to force Morey to resign?

    Dude is a scumbag.

yup he should have followed his buddy CP3’s measured response and end it there. But he had to keep on digging that hole.

My assumption is that Harden’s $300 million contract is pretty standard whereas Bron’s lifetime Nike deal has incentives tied directly to the company’s global growth, including in China.

in other words I think Harden will rag on Morey the next time they see each other but there won’t be any hard feelings

Again easy to talk when it’s not your money .

Lebron has donated millions to poor kids.

What have you done besides follow the crowd and parrot back over and over exactly what the media tells you.

Must be a Tough job attacking a target 99% of the forum is also targeting.

How are protestors destroying shops and attacking old people not about seizing power and about democracy?

Funny when he supported Kaepernick and hoped he got another chance.
    Exact Quote:

The NFL owners exiled Kaep for hurting their wallets. The hypocrisy man wants the same for Morey because it's hurting his wallet.

It's that a group of players from the Nets and Lakers were talking to Silver about if Morey would be disciplined for costing the league billions of dollars.

We don't know who led the charge there but I'm pretty confident it was Lebron...he's the one with the most to lose here. Guys like Rondo and Dinwiddie likely don't have huge deals in China with Nike...

It's frustrating when you have to agree with narratives coming out the mouths of people like Laura Ingram.

If you as an athlete decide that you should be an activist for human rights, that activism is going to look phoney as **** if you draw a line on causes that effect your bottom line. It means you can be bribed out of your principles.

It makes you question any of his activism such as his Cleveland high school. I garauntee that he has agents and marketers who tell him these causes can help him with his bottom line as it generates a positive image amongst the target NBA fan base.

It's why Nike took up Kapernick. They figured that the Nike target audience supports his cause enough where it positively effects their bottom line.

People talk about freedom of speech, human rights, and how righteous it is. Where was this support in the NFL with Colin Kapernick?

LeBron James and his children's children will be wealthy for life even without Chinese revenue. This is just pure excess greed replacing human dignity.
