He looked like a zombie on offense AND defense to me.

did you watch and pay attention tot he whole game in its entirety?

26 total team assists vs 24

    guess who had 26

and one team had two players with 22 points and 5 players in double digits vs a team with a player scoring 22 pts and 4 players in double digitd

guess again which team had a more balanced scoring

Oh, oh, oh. That's right, where was the O?

His D was okay, but if his offense not there then I expect more from him on D. Raptors needed to feel him on every possession.

you saw how he was one of the more consistent shooters and defernders last year right?

you think he suddenly broke his shot or forgot to shoot and forgot to defend?

or its just his first game back?

He needs to be energy guy, play with more effort when on the floor. Cannot have another postseason flameout.

LOL so based on his first game back you don't think he will be the energy guy nor play with more effort when on the floor this year?

Yup and your point does not disprove mine. I see the same offense for pretty much the entire time, only WB pushing the pace and different guys penetrating into the paint. Off the ball action is still minimal.

You know which 2 players led the league in paint penetration last season?

What's your point? I said more guys are penetrating with mainly House instructed to do so.

I am not backpedaling on anything. You are taking it as a knee jerk whine, I posted it during the game when it was happening so sure emotion was there, but when guys are just waiting with bad body language by some at times to boot then it's pretty much like last year. Still, I ask, what's your point?

It's pre-season and he's with a new group of guys. Let him shoot now so he'll hopefully have a better idea of what kinds of 3s to take in this offense once the season starts.

I don’t think it matters. He is taking the same shots as he did last year. I really don’t understand what he is thinking. The worse he shoots, the more he shoots. For him to have so many attempts last year as he continued to throw up brick after brick just doesn’t make sense. I just don’t want a repeat of that. I’m more worried about the attempts than his percentage. They are wasted possessions as far as lm concerned.

All I want is for him to play smart! And for the record I am a WB fan and have been since he came in the League. His shot has been in heavy decline since his MVP season. Why won’t anyone tell him to stop shooting long shots ? I just don’t get it.

WB is actually more efficient shooting 3's than mid range shots. Eliminating the long 2's should be the emphasis not punishing for taking more 3's.

MDA's system will enable him to be more efficient, need patience as he returns from surgery and gets comfortable in offense.
