If Anthony Davis wanted to play for the Rockets you know good and well we'd want him too.

I’m confused. How can an initial exam reveal that there isn’t any ligament damage without an MRI? Seems like the Lakers medical staff is being a tad bit hopeful (kinda like with the Warriors and Kd’s “calf strain”).

Me too. Had to look it up.

Paul had a thumb injury in Jan 2017, that requried surgery. Tweet must be talking about that. I guess just to compare recovery times.

It’s amazing how much of a pass the media gives Anthony Davis. It’s not his fault but it’s annoying. It’d be like saying Correa is one of the 5 best players in baseball. That’s possibly true but attendance counts and these guys haven’t shown it yet. Correa has at least showed up in the postseason and gotten a ring.

This is a deadly serious situation. Our fully opposable thumbs are an important feature of humans. Anthony Davis' very humanity is at stake.

after enduring the yao/mergady era, while no one in the league sympathized with us... especially during that lakers series where we lost cus both our superstars went down, i have no sympathy for other team's injuries.

no one cared when cp3 went down to give gsw a freebie to the finals.

Personally I’d say I don’t think folks hate Curry or Giannis or even AD. Russ’ play style and media approach has garnered hate.

But relative to those that have “quit” on their team... AD is certainly one of the more unprofessional versions you’ll see. He wore a “thats all folks” shirt to a game for goodness sake.

Plus being constantly reminded that he’s a top 5 player or whatever when even when healthy he hasn’t proven that at all. He’s barely a top 5 big man. I’d take Giannis, Embiid and Jokic over him. On paper AD looks amazing and sometimes it’s true but he’s oft injured, hardly ever takes over a game, doesn’t seem to make his teammates better, it’s unclear if he’s a good locker room presence and defensively doesn’t have the same impact as a Giannis or Embiid (admittedly Jokic sucks on defense but is healthy and imo really impacts the game offensively and for his teammates).

I feel very similarly about Kyrie btw. Much of the “hate” comes from being constantly told how good they are when you know just from watching they haven’t proved that yet. Like are the Nets that much better this year (without KD)?? I don’t see why - because of Kyrie over DAngelo?? Lol.

So if someone isn’t the biggest fan of AD, regardless of team he plays on, I can see that logic for sure.

I have never understood the hype of this guy

I have argued for years with friends that he hasn’t earned the hype and excuses for him

Media has covered for him since Day 1. Got him to LA. Will continue to cover for him.

I would say the media is trying hard to make Los Angeles as a city relevant again. Look how many all stars they got to that city just this summer. Speak it into existence!
