Altuve has most hr as 2nd baseman in the postseason

    He has more postseason hr than any 2nd baseman in baseball history. I hope that helps him on his hof resume.

    that won't matter..just a cool stat. He'll have plenty of help with his amazing regular season stats :)

    It won't help him....... because he's already in. This postseason alone he's sure to climb up that list. I'm confident.
    Still has plenty left in the tank (although I HAVE seen a few people say he should be traded), he'll only go higher as his career continues. No doubt he'll have many postseasons next decade.

    I wonder what more he has to do in order to be considered the best 2nd baseman in Astro history surpassing Biggio

    More gold gloves (unlikely, but I do think his defense will rebound)
    3000 hits club
    Continued involvement with the Astros organization after retirement

    Great accomplishment

    Just consider most postseason stats are more easily achieved now due to the increased number of rounds/games.

    He's already better than Biggio.

    There's probably 10x more 3000ers than 3x batting titles.

    3061 hits, lot more doubles, don't ground into double plays for 2 seasons, and get beaned about 300 times.
