Meh, lowest payroll too and that would sound scary, but It's the Rays.

Was just about to post the same thing. Greinke and Verlander pitching on reasonable rest this time and at home. That's a different story. Sending out Cole to meet the Yankees in NY...that makes me feel a lot better. If Gerrit Cole can wrestle away a game at Yankee Stadium, then you can put Urquidy out there for Game 4 with a bit of a cushion. And THEN, as you said, Gerrit Cole in Game 7 if it comes to that.

Its not different than a offense knowing what play to run based on how a defense lines up in football. It's only cheating if they are stealing signs using cameras etc

Thankful. So thankful they won this. I didn't want this to end so soon.

I'm a little surprised the ACLS thread isn't up already.

When Bregs was asked, "Whats one word to describe Gerrit Cole?" I wanted him to say BEAST so bad....

Hats off to the Rays. I have never been so glad to dispose of a team. They just wouldn't go away. Overall, they might be the best pitching staff in the league. If they get a hitter or two they are going to be formidable going forward. Whew. I actually like our chances against the Yankees. They will be tough, but the Rays are like a rash all over your body.

It’s not. Hitters and coaches in every dugout from Little League and up are always looking for tells from the pitcher that help them identify pitches.

Well seeing that I put $1,500 on the Nats to win the World Series back when I got 20:1 odds...
