Why is everyone worried about what game is Verlander going to start in game 2 of ALDS. Lets say Verlander gives up 3 runs tomorrow . If the team scores 2 runs then we still lost. We shouldn't even be thinking about the ALDS. I am worried we might not make it out of this round. Springer is batting 0. If he doens't hit we will lose tomorrows game also.

Well... I’m glad you personally don’t care for the “hope I’m wrong” type of takes.

Everyone on this board, please note this and respect it.

We all want the Astros to win, I’m with you on that.

I mean I guess it's a typo, but we should be really thinking about the ALDS right now bro.

Sorry, we should not be worried about game 2 of the next series. We need to worry about this series and end it, not worry about the Yankees.

I said the performance was embarrassing, which happens in baseball...just like fans talking **** is also part of the game. Now go back to policing them and being a crushing bore.

I know, just giving you a hard time and lashing out after this horrible loss. We win tomorrow.

What does China think of us starting Verlander in game 4? That’s the real question..

    Right?

Again, fans "complaining" is a fundamental part of the game. The vast majority of my comments are supportive of the team like any good fan. I was posting here throughout the 2017 postseason, b****ing at and praising the team at the same time. Put me on ignore if you don't like it stupid because the only one b****ing here is you.

Better idea: quit going to meetings.

"Hope I'm wrong" is great if people acknowledge they were wrong afterwards -- if they were wrong.

The fraudulence occurs when someone denies/downplays afterwards.

Weird seeing a W by Morton and the Astros lost.

According to Mao "True power emanates from the barrel of a bat" and "long marches are only fruitful if you get home". Therefore it is not a matter of who we start on the mound but a matter of our offense generating more hits and not stranding runners on base.

A 5-inning meeting is too long. I don't care what your job is. Consider leaving.

I should also quit my job. Not really related to the Astros, though. More due to the rotting of my soul it's induced over the years. Much of which has come from very long, pointless meetings.

If verlander pitches 8 strong innings of 2 run ball tomorrow... I will dance in the streets and be proud to say I was wrong for doubting Verlander on 3 days rest.

I have no problem with it. I want the best chance for the Astros to win.
