And, yet - it is the best run sports org in the USA. And has been even during the latter, darker years of Stern where the all-power-full commish seem to be (trying to) strangle every ounce of blood from whomever dared to be in his way.

I think people give Tilman a weird shake. From what I have heard he is a massive jerk but who isn't when it comes to being a billionaire. Everything I have seen though he has been 100 percent behind his players and not an embarrassment like Dolan or Michael Jordan. Idk we are near the top when it comes to player salaries and have been better than any Rockets squad the last 20 years. Perspective isn't in this board nature though.

Ain't Nene signed? Whatever controversy it was should be over.

Tilly's "family" will take care of it quietly, make that problem disappear.

I think if the media didn’t get a hold of this deal and the Rockets were hush-hush about it, I think it would have passed.

One the media got ahold of how the rockets were “gaming” the system the league had to step in and make face

Honestly at this point I would rather waive Nene and leave that roster spot for a young prospect such as Bennett or McLemore. Hartenstein dominated the G-League last year and he deserves a shot too.

Yeh... I guess we shouldnt fuss about them invalidating portions of the contract - while sticking us with the unfavorable aspects of it...

I mean if we do... then they might... idk... torpedo a trade we're involved in for 'basketball reasons'? Make rule changes that work implicitly to our detriment? I mean heck... the next thing you know they might have the officials actually calling games to benefit the other team or something...

    lol...

Maybe the issue wasnt "what happens to organizations/owners/front office executives that cross the league office..." - but rather... "what happens to the league office when it crosses Morey..."

    ;) lol
