Is this seriously his new move? Always thought it was just a fun trick shot, that became a internet challenge, but not actually a shot he intends to use in real games.

Increased difficulty, questionable return on the risk

I'll voice the same concern that I had when I first heard of it. And, that is James making himself more vulnerable to injury. I don't like it at all.

His efficiency only drops because he’s the only superstar in the league that gets less foul calls in playoffs which is blasphemy considering his usage rate.

And the fouls they don’t call are obvious fouls.

Giannis shot like 50 free throws in two games in playoffs and no one said a thing.

lets see it in an nba game before critiquing new moves of a guy who lives bball and knows better than us.

Hopefully he is putting just as much effort practicing playing off ball.

Lol yeah its easy to bust a perfected move in the playoffs while not prefecting/practicing it in 82 regular games. No one has ever done something like that

And before that he should have already perfected his offensive arsenals/repertoire in regular seasons

In the playoffs everyone simply needs to adjust and stepup. mda needs to draw up plays to free james and wb and have a deep rotation both reg season and pos and sont over play james and wb in the reg season. While others Need to step up when harden and westnrook are double / triple teamed. While wb and james need to make the necessary adjustments such as off ball movement even more aggressiveness defense etc

This is an interesting take. Would you better explain what leads you to believe a one legged three puts strain on the body?

It'd be helpful to further understand your professional background and experience to fully understand how severe of an issue this is.

Does it make it impossible to guard him from behind? Maybe that’s his solution to that defense. He’s moving to the side so it would mean that he’s going away from the defender.

I’m just afraid that landing on one leg frequently will make him more prone to injury.

Imagine being mad that your MVP came up with another move?

Wouldn’t you want your MVP to have multiple weapons at his disposal? What’s next you do like Hakeem’s pivot fakes?
