We've been saying this for years. Still waiting for him to coach better, Brian.

BOB is going to limit Watson and stunt his career growth.

That is the Texans way though.

Just imagine what Kubes could have done with an elite talent like Watson.

Given BOB's track record of QB non-development, that would be no surprise.

But with Watson we seem intent on getting him killed with this terrible OL.

So, provided we don't bury him with poor coaching and bad gameplanning, we will surely destroy him physically.

I predict this thread will get to 400 pages before BOB is gone.

Only under the Texans and McNair can a guy as unimpressive as BoB continue to get extensions while weaseling his way into more power and influence in the organization. He beat out Rick Smith, he hired then fired Gaine, and now he is the GM and head coach of the team. Even hoodie wishes he got to this level of influence in NE as fast as BoB did in Houston.

BillyO is a horrible coach. Everyone knows this. It's not update for debate. Like human cause climate change. Or gravity.

So what would you rather have:
Texans at 8-4 and on track to win the division but at best one playoff win, or
Texans at 4-8 and a GUARANTEE that BillyO is gone

    ??

The real problem is they could be 4-8, finish say 6-10, and BillyO will be back.

Billy Bob will be the first Texans HC to survive 2-14.

This would be my dream come true. Name the last really good coach for the Texans. I frankly can't think of one that I wasn't happy when they left. I do think BOB is the worst. He can't call a game to save his life. The Texans are a defensive coordinator's dream. Game planning only requires a 3x5 card.

If we fire BoB, who will be the GM?

Really seemed like he was never the head coach. I think he was the head coach for three games and lost them all.

It's comical to me how often fans cry that the Texans aspire to mediocrity while many of them are actively rooting for the team to fail....

Why is this even a question?....... There are honestly people that would prefer sitting through a 4-8 season? Only this fan base could look at an 8-4 start and think, Nah, not good enough...

    You don't get it.

Everyone already knows that BOB and the Texans are mediocrity.

Fans want something to hopeful about, they would like to have a drastic change in the organization so that there is hope.

Fans are willing to have bad years if there is a likely payoff......... there is NO pay off with this organization being the status quo.

What is the payoff? Winning the AFC South so that they can lose in the first round?

No one buys...... it is fools gold. The Texans organization has received fan support and media support that frankly they do not deserve.
