NYY are having a hell of a time with injuries. Hicks and Encarnacion are both out. Torres went out tonight.
Fangraphs now has Houston finishing at 103 wins, Dodgers at 102, and Yankees at 101. They had Houston going into today's game finishing the remaining 50 games at 31-19.
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2019-mlb-predictions/ Astros projected 105 wins and 25% to win the WS both tops by their projections.
Thanks for this site. Never looked at this one before. Btw... Boston really **** the bed this weekend... they are about to be swept in a 4 game series with NYY.
I'd go by what Vegas says, when I placed my WS futures bet back in June I got 4/1, after the trade I've seen as low as +200; ALCS is even money
We definitely need home field advantage, but their bullpen is atrocious. I'd dig it. I need to shave yet another 3 years off of my lifespan. Totes worth it for another ring and to see the Buffalo Dodgers lose once again.
Scherzer is probably the single most dangerous player. Combined with Strasburg, possible wrenches. No longer worried about Kershaw, but the Didgereedoos staff is a solid threesome. Like our chances because we hold the single best card, and the best hand.
And just like that, the Twins and Indians now have the same records. Indians will be dangerous with their starting pitching going into the playoff and I hope they win the AL central so they can face Yankees in ALDS. I no doubt believe that we will have AL best record, hopefully overall as well. Yanks has a lot of tough series remaining on their schedule. Indians, A’s twice, Dodgers, Rangers twice, Redsox, and Rays.
Astros odds surging with acquisition of Greinke and the Astros offense averaging 6.5 runs/per game in the last 30 days not counting Saturday (7.2 runs including Saturday).
