Yeah Texans need to stop being that team that players always fail at... this organization seems to be against having success. So many players hate it here. Cough... cough... Brandon Brooks...

Yup, pass protection was what he was getting called out for last week in practice.

Disappointing. Understandable if he was getting outplayed, Foreman had a giant mountain to climb coming back from a torn Achilles. But if this was mainly because he wasn't willing to play ST, it's just another reason why BoB needs someone to check him.

Comments like this make sense overall:

"Special teams is a big factor," he said. "Where are they on special teams? What type of effort do they give? Is the guy willing to cover kicks, like Taiwan Jones (and) Buddy Howell? That's a big deal. "When you look at a 53-man roster, you have certain guys at certain positions that'll be your starters. With the exception of offensive line and defensive line and quarterback, special teams is probably a major factor in making the roster."

But going into the season with Lamar Miller and a bunch of backups who combined for zero carries last season is not smart. Especially if you're choosing them because they are willing to play special teams.

Edit: Just read Foreman was continuously late for meetings, inexcusable if true.

The Astros and Rockets are organizations that take players and extract maximum potential performance out of them relative to their ability. Players blossom under their tutelage. The Texans are the team that vets go to to cash one last check on their way out of the league. Players get worse here, and our player development is subpar. And yet, they keep pretending like they’re the **** in this town. That arrogance, projected on downwards from the owner and coach, mean that this franchise will never seek to improve, clean house in cases of coaches with their set-in-stone mindsets, and accomplish anything worth a damn.

This is a guy who was willing to go into a regular season game with Shane Lechler as our backup QB.

    It just keeps getting better...

Wow! These undrafted free agents look better than the third rounder a week ago I expected big things from! Let’s send a message and release him!

If he ends up in New England or Indy it would be so fitting.

Versatility, Gucci. Versatility. Don't need battle fighters, need versatility. Can only do one thing? Cut. Joe Webb is my GOAT. QB and slot receiver. That's what gets you first place in the AFC South multiple years in a row, Gucci.

Bullshit. Melo, Patrick Peterson, Marcus Morris, Robert Convington Dragic, JD Martinez, Curt Schilling, Kenny Lofton, Joe Morgan, and MANY others. There many players that “blossom” after they fail here or come to Houston and are a disaster with the Astros and Rockets. Texans have their share on both sides. Take off the rose-colored glasses.

Trent doesn't want to come here. We're not in his Top 3 due to instability at the top of the organization.

Now watch the chargers trade Melvin, pick up Foreman, and he go on to have a 1,000 yd season. This is why the Texans will never win, they prioritize falling in line with the other inmates over having actual talent. Say what you want about foreman but the guy has shown flashes of greatness and that he belongs in the league. Can somebody please tell me what in the actual **** is a buddy howell????

He appeared to have fumbleitis in camp as well.

Coming off a major injury, fumbling and not blocking. Not what you want out of your running back.

Because someone I know knows, you condescending prick. Texans are trying to talk to him, but right now there are other teams he'd prefer to go to. **** outta here with the insults.
