    I’m pretty sure it’s A.C. Green.

    The basketball HOF is so
Here is the HOF probability list from basketball reference.

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/hof_prob.html

The only players in the top 100 that are currently eligible and not in are Larry Foust, Larry Costello and Tim Hardaway. The Larrys may get in someday by veteran committee vote, like Sikma and Moncrief this year. Hardaway is not in due to controversial statements, but he has been doing a lot to repair that damage, so he will get in eventually.

Chris Webber is surprisingly far down the list (not even top 150). He was a finalist this year, so he will get in, but I don't think he deserves it. There are only a few players below him on the list and they are mostly from early days of basketball or had a big contribution in other ways (Don Nelson) or injury shortened careers (Bill Walton, Pistol Pete). Of the players with the highest similar careers to him, only Worthy is in the HOF and that's only because Worthy had a greatly shortened career but huge peak.

Of recently retired players in the top 100, Duncan, Wade, Pierce are first ballot HOF. Carmelo will probably get in on the first ballot.

Bosh, Howard, Carter and Gasol may be first ballot, depending on how strong the class is. Billups, Marion, and Stoudemire will all get in eventually.

Of the next 50, the modern vets that are questionable to ever get in are Kemp, Wallace, and O'Neal - in fact, I'm surprised that Jermaine is that high. . Rudy will get in someday by veteran vote due to the coaching component just like Don Nelson did. Laimbeer and Arenas will likely never get in due to character issues. Ginobili shouldn't get in, but I could see him go in as a nod to international basketball and his sacrificing personal stats for the team.

Of top 150 players that are active, I can see Rondo and Wall not get in. Draymond will get in due to the rings. Of the top 250 that are still active, I doubt Isaiah Thomas, Iguodala, DeRozan, Kemba Walker, Marc Gasol, Paul Millsap, DeAndre Jordan, Andre Drummond, or DeMarcus Cousins could do anything at this point in their career to push themselves over the top.

Can't ever discount the possibility of a rogue Veteran's committee that puts in all its friends though.

Abdul-Rauf was actually a very good player in the early 90’s who basically got sidelined for his refusal to participate in the National Anthem.

Not getting into politics/religious/moral beliefs, this is one guy I used to like a as player. He was a phenomenal free throw shooter and all around solid player.

I think Ben will get in eventually, 4x DPOY, if they keep him out that would be silly.

Sheed and rest though...yeah. I do think Webber being in the media helps his chances though.

All I got from that list is that Harden has played with 4 different top 63 players ALL TIME. And people say he hasn't had help.

    joking,

    kind of.

PS Ginobli easily deserves to be in the hall of fame. Even more so than Draymond Greene at this point.

I loved Sam, but IMHO he doesn't belong on this list. He was a good player, and fans of his team probably loved him, but he's a career 16 ppg, 6 apg guy. Those are good stats, but 'really good'?

This is a pretty good list. Several players on this list I would have thought WERE in the HoF.

Thought it was AC Green by a long shot, even after he had his face punched or w/e (some injury where he had to wear a mask) that dude was a stalwart.

Shouted out a curse word when I saw my choice, Eddie Jones, nice one!
