Best part of the press conference at 5:55 mark: "There's been many times in Oklahoma City when James was on the team that he closed the game as the primary ball handler and I played off the ball, which is totally fine for me because, like I said before, I am uh, offensively and scoring and having the ball in my hands is not the only thing I can do for the game. I do a lot of great things for the game and I look forward to doing that for this team as well."

We'll see if this comes to fruition.... It's imperative that Harden is the primary ball handler for the final 2-3 minutes of each game.

Are you skeptical that it will ever happen or that it did happen? Because that's how they played in the playoffs against San Antonio and in the Finals against Miami--Harden was the point and Russ was the shooting guard.

Have you ever dislocated your shoulder multiple times before? I have and without surgery it's never the same. The feeling/sensation is totally different and, without surgical repair, you're always at a risk of dislocating it in the future. I make a big deal out of his shoulder because I have yet to see any report that he's had surgery on his shoulder (only his knee) and also because, IIRC, it was on his right shoulder and he shoots right-handed.

When he re-injured it on that dunk I knew the guy needed surgery. Rest and giving it time works for people who aren't professional athletes. He needed/needs that surgery.

I actually hope Russ takes the last shot. Historically Hardens never been much a closer. While Russ actually wants the shot and can get any shot off.
