Why not … All it takes is Shumpert in a S&T and …. they are already over the cap so its nothing but money.

Memphis would conceivably buy out Shumpert and saving them the difference between his buy out cost and Iggy's 17m. They'd also get draft considerations.

They could get Iggy & still have the rest of the T-MLE to go after a 4/5 (I prefer a shooter at the 4 spot that can play smallball 5).

    NO - see above.

You'd still have EG to either extend or move down the line.

Not Gordon for Igoudala straight up

Gordon + Shumpert for Igoudala + Bradley + Noah

Lmao sure let's judge his ppg when he was the 6-7th option on the team. He carried them in the finals when everyone was injured. He could score 0ppg for all I care but his defense is worth every penny. A lineup of Harden/Gordon/iguodala/Tucker/Capela or cp3 if we playing small ball will be lethal

Grizzlies aren't going to give him up, majority of the reason that made that deal.

Why wouldn't they …. They are gonna be terribad and by the time they are good , he'll be too old to help.

They'll take a draft pick and savings in salary in a heartbeat for a guy who is not part of their future.

Oh you know, just Woj saying that they've had their eye on Melton for a while now and view him as a real asset to their team now and in future, other than that, no reason...

At this point we should stop getting info about who are we interested in because it means nothing. I ridiculed Morey the whole year that he is interested in Jordan via trade from 96 Bulls. Just get some **** done nephew...

And for Andre.. I really like his career and think he is great player. But at his age + inability to shoot threes(unless he plays Rockets and they are begging him to do so) I don't think it's worth it.

Can we keep the 17m without trading other guys though?

Cuz if it means EG then I'm out

I actually think that they plan to buy him out but are trying to salvage assets. If nobody trades for him, they'll buy him out. Problem is, then he goes to LA. It sucks because Iggy would look very good on a vet minimum.

Memphis is trying to trade Iggy. No way someone is taking his $17.5 mil salary.....and giving up something to get it (unless it is a BAD contract). Just buy the man out (got a 1st out of it).

Depending on the players we have to give up.

Seems like the Mavs might be out of the hunt for Danny Green...but what asset can they trade? I don't think they have any 1st rounder to trade, which is good cause i don't want to trade one either so, might be a battle with 2nd rounder, cash and maybe a young player...personally i don't want to trade Hartenstein or Clark for Iguodala though.

How you figure that. To me means the exact opposite. U really think iggy on a young team makes since...na the story of the finals mvp on the warriors greatest nemesis makes the most sense. I'm almost 60 percent now he gonna be a rocket

So Shumpert S&T would be realistic? With a 1st I guess.
