He helped us win the 2017 World Series.
And those idiot LA losers gave us Yordan Alvarez for him!!!!!
He is going to break the all-time Astros Home Run Record.

Dear god. Jeff Luhnow. You do circles around everyone. Especially the other Houston GM’s that sign gimps to 40 million dollar contracts for multiple years.

    I love this.

    Too soon.

The Stros did try to sign Yordan for a large bonus but were outbid by the Dodgers, so he was always on Luhnow's radar.

How many of yall remember Todd "Secret Agent" Jones? We traded him to the Tigers and he proceeded to give up runs every time he pitched against us.

    Brilliant trade.

Old school memory: Todd Jones getting ejected from a game against the Expos for trying to throw at Dennis Martinez..........while Dennis Martinez was on 1st base.

Astros and Expos used to have classic brawls. Danny Darwin v. Henry Rodriguez. Terry Collins v. an Expos batting helmet. Casey Candale v Jeff Juden. Spike Owens v somebody. Todd Jones v Dennis Martinez.

Correction: Todd Jones was ejected while trying to hit Martinez while Martinez was at the plate (Martinez kept jumping out of the way). Jones ended up walking him and got ejected. Then with Martinez on 1st, Al Osuna came in and tried to hit Martinez while he took a lead off of 1st base. Osuna then got ejected.

Probably best Astros brawl of all time and Bill Brown with the best blow by blow/PBP ever:

    OK, this is the one.

Does Moises hit Terry Collins in the face with a helmet? Does Jeff Juden get destroyed by John Candelaria Canjelosi? Am I making this up?

    No. It's ****ing brilliant.

Did Darwin hit him with an 88 mph fast ball? I actually remember watching this game a long time ago. Good memories.

    That's awesome.

I like the Worrell "....and Doug Brocail comes in, and you don't want...."

Brocail is also one of the most hardass mf'ers you'll ever meet.

My favorite line so far: "David Segui was out there, and he's on the disabled list! Yeah, he'll be fined for that. Absolutely, that's automatic fine, anybody on the DL going out on the field to fight." Our IL guys would go out there and try to calm everyone down, maybe do some of their HEB skits to distract everyone.

And Larry Dierker on the color commentary. Miss me some Larry, commentator and manager. Brownie and Larry were having a blast. Moises Alou throws a helmet and leaves a 1" gash above Terry Collins' lip. Moises Alou on the Astros a couple years later.
