Let’s see what Watson has for us with a full offseason as the starter that’s the one thing that can quiet the GM noise him showing out this year

    I like baker a lot

But he’s getting major hype this offseason.

I’ve heard some media already say he’s going to be the 2nd best QB in the league for the next decade after Mahomes.

He might be but man theirs some great young QBs like Watson, Wentz and Goff, hell even Trubisky.

Their all different which is cool and I think we def have found the next wave of great QB play with Manning gone and Brady, Rodger and brees all on their last chapters of their career.

Imo Watson really reminds me of Rodgers. Super accurate makes off schedule throws and is super confident and competitive.

Baker is a special talent Forsure he very well could end up as the best of the bunch but I do think a lot of ppl are sleeping in Watson because of Mahomes.

Watson just won 11 games in his 2nd year three for over 4000 yards rushed for over 500 and had 31 total tds and only 9 ints completing 68% of his passes.

It’s strange because those are mvp numbers in some years and he’s getting highly over looked and he did all that in his 2nd season and he’s only played 23 total games.

If the Texans can get better Oline play I think he can get 4500+ passing yards and 35 tds. While still competing 68% of his passes.

Texans struck gold with this kid plus he’s a natural leader and better yet he’s just a winner. He’s won at every level and so far he’s done a lot of winning in the nfl and hasn’t exactly had the most ideal players around him.

Wentz is another guy who could potentially be the best QB in the game even over Mahomes but he’s got some serious injury question marks. I hope that’s behind him and he doesn’t have that Andrew Luck derail of his career we’re it takes a few season to get back like it took Luck.

Give Watson what Mahomes has and he would light it up for sure. It’s sad that Watson has to work with a below average coach and front office that gives him no o line.

I don’t know if he throws for 50 tds.

But I could def see him throwing for close to 5k yards and still have 40 Tds with that offense and that talent on that end.

Personally I think he has enough talent on the Texans from the skill positions to throw for 35 tds and 4500 yards this season it just depends on his Oline play and if the TE group can improve (which I do from the TEs)

But we also have to understand it wasn’t all on the Oline last year he had plenty of easy check downs to the TE last year and the slot guy on crossing routs that we’re wide open but he forced the action and took the sack.

Their is times and place for throws like that we’re he makes magic out of nothing but he needs to get the ball out quick when the guys are wide open even if it’s only for a 5-10 yard gain.

And I think he will guys a smart Qb he gets it. Just needs more reps. If you look at his numbers through his first 23 games their almost identical to Aaron Rodgers.

Best thing about Watson is he does take very good care of the ball and his competitor percentage is already 68%. That’s incredible for a guy who threw 26 tds and 4100 passing yards.

He’s got Rodgers like potential for a 70% completion percentage with 30 tds and 5 ints like Rodgers does quite often.

    That’s special.

    We got a good one.
