If true, I'm pleased as well. I love Nene, but that $3.8M or whatever should go towards paying someone who can contribute in every game, not 50% of them.

As much as I would hate to lose my favorite player, he deserves it..

very happy for nene if he's ready to retire! hopefully hartenstein has been learning from him. we will need him to be rotation worthy if ne is gone.

also- could be a major blow to @Codman's insider status.

He gets 3.8mil a year to watch rockets games court side haha. i love the dude, but it would be good if retired. I doubt he does though as he has another year of court side seats in his contract.

Nene's basketball IQ is through the roof. He could definitely help us another year. But if he does retire, Rockets need to call Zach Randolph up & offer him a contract

Man, idk what yall have been watching, but hes been very good for against GS, even in his limited minutes, I think that alone is worth enough.

Theoretically if he were going to retire, we could use his salary to match in a trade and the receiving team would have it come off the books.

Is there some rule against this?

How has nobody said “he’s a consummate professional and I hope he retires a rocket” yet?

Nene can have one of Draymond's eyeballs as a souvenir. He just has to scoop one out in game four.

    Accidentally of course.

I really hope in Game 7, Nene can destroy Draymond, near the end of the game.

Draymond long nails, growing them out on purpose, swiping James Left Eye in Game 2, Swiping James Right a Eye in Game 3, end of the Game 3, a unnecessary dirty pick in the closing seconds to injure Austin Rivers.

Scumbag Referees, ignoring Draymond Flagrant Fouls and Obvious Ejections on purpose.

I really hope Karma really injures him. Only NBA player that deserves it.

This is exactly what I was going to post. He might do the team one last favor if all it amounts to is a transaction. A team like Philly would welcome the savings in a package.
