    Wendy Carlos - Sonic Seasonings

An incredibly hard album to find due to being out of print; this album is definitely worth spending between $50 to $75 to own a copy.

I've been trying to find the best versions of music using that loudness wars database site and other sources, I prefer finding original pressings of cds from 80s-very early 90s ripping to flac, but man after that vinyl is perfect since the damn production isn't over produced, on good set ups it definitely sounds better/cleaner at better volume.. I Wish they'd release unaltered versions on cd as I tend to get lazy on my vinyl to flac rips.. But anyway.. I will get going on those again soon.

Latest LP is Alice in Chains - Dirt unfortunately by 92 they were screwing with CD. Supertramp - Breakfast in America (went cd on that but only because it wasn't screwed with, also not the bs remaster), lol my music taste is all over the place 70-90s and then any bands still making stuff from around that time, I also love metal/industrial etc, trying to find a specific Tool album on vinyl but not spending $2-300 for it, and waiting for repressing of NIN LP catalogs, those NIN LPs if you find the right ones sound a ton better. Another interesting one is Slipknot/Korn overall better LPs than the original cd garbage pressings.

Yes, my taste in music is interesting ... My play lists are all over the place, but no country/trap music (90s rap is good though).

Oh and of course pretty much all 80s music, slowly have been getting more, looking at Duran Duran soon and maybe a Tears for Fears album. Seriously my play lists are crazy... Like a more insane version of some of those stations that play everything. I've also been interested in Weezer and lately some Avenged Sevenfold vinyls.

My last full play through on the record player was Pink Floyd - Dark Side - ya ya, I know I've heard it a ton, it's still good :)

If you want some recommendations on new wave, hit me up. I would definitely start with OMD. For years, all I knew about them was "If You Leave" which is still one of my all-time favorite songs but all of their studio albums before that song are really good. Also New Order, Depeche Mode, and Yaz are ones along with Erasure if you like New Wave.

Have tried some clips from the album. Hearing that summertime lawn mowing sound, I can smell the scent of freshly cut grass. Witty Ms Wendy C.

Derek Bailey - tough guy to get into but worth the time, IMO. Have a couple of his things and really need to explore more but it seems hard to find a lot of his stuff in print.

I love the whole album. I've been a fan of Beirut for a long time and this album isn't something groundbreaking-ly new. But there are some new elements and inspirations. It seems like he's realized the potential of everything that has been going on for quite a while, and delivers it with almost perfect execution.

And on "Also New Order, Depeche Mode, and Yaz are ones along with Erasure if you like New Wave." I need to look more into Yaz, love all the other suggestions already!! In fact, I saw Depeche Mode during their last tour, ****ing awesome. They honestly sounded really great
