The expressions on the Jazz's player's faces were priceless. Mitchell's was the easiest to read. It was like, "we have no chance; why are we even doing this?" They looked really defeated, like, "can we just cancel this series?"

He also sh** on Rubio the same way we have, here, every time @basketballholic tries to shove his "rubio 4 lyfe" rhetoric down our gullets.

Lol that guy in the video was gushing and begging for the jazz to acquire Eric Gordon. He said Gordon is a luxury for the rockets but would be a Godsend for the jazz. The jazz would easily overpay the rockets for Gordon

What are we supposed to watch, Charles Barkley picking the Jazz in 6?

    ????????????

Don't know what this is about. Rubio is a great player that has never once been able to play in the right system for his skillset. I thought it was going to happen in Utah, but Mitchell joined them and it never materialized.

If Rubio were in Giannis' role in Milwaukee, surrounded by shooters with the floor spread with him on the ball running the show, he'd average an efficient 14 points on about 6-8 FTAs a game, plus about 12 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and about 2 turnovers and the league would be talking about him like Chris Paul.

I haven't changed my opinion on Rubio, dorko. And you brought him up, dorko troll.

He realizes that with Rubio, you are playing 4 on 5 on offense. Rubio is fools gold. Ben Simmons better learn how to shoot also before people figure out that he isn't worth the max.

Most of the local guys are so much better than the national pundits.

This guy is pretty clearly a big fan of the Jazz, but he always has good takes (not nearly "hot" enough for a national spot). He isn't blinded by homerism and sees exactly the same thing most of us do, and why the outlook is so bleak for them in this series. If they were the 6 seed they would be on their way to the conference finals, matched up with us it's gonna be a short postseason.

You're wrong cause Giannis would be the primary ballhandler/playmaker just like he is now.

Rubio sucks just like your fake ass insider / baskteball analysis posts. Get a life... and btw the Hoops Nerd brought him up... dorko?.... what are you like 50?

CP3 did just that,...... yet we still won by 32. Stop referencing stats as the end all be all and learn the game loser.

He wasn't saying if Rubio were in Milwaukee. What he was proposing was more ridiculous than that. He was proposing that if Rubio had an entire team built around him like Giannis he'd be able to look better. But Rubio isn't Giannis and can never be the type of player a team is built around. He's always going to be a weakness because he is a guard that can't shoot and guards that can't shoot are essentially worthless in the modern nba.

    OMG. That's even worse!

You're exactly right. Guards who can't shoot are a complete detriment to their teams offensive attack, unless they bring other elite skills such as playmaking skills (ala CP3) or defensive lock down/awareness (ala Gary Payton).

Wow, this guy. Thanks for clearing that up for me, what a ridiculous take.

I feel for the Jazz fans.. actually not really, they really thought not having Rubio was the difference between winning a seven game series last year.. they thought they had the perfect road map to stopping Harden. Now most of them are berating using the infamous Scottie Pippen endorsed technique that worked for bucks.. So now the dillusional Jazz fans are saying they should have always played Harden one on one.. Do they not realize teams have done this all year long, and Harden would love switching on Gobert blow by him for east deuce or lob to Capela.. If Harden is given space he is the best at taking step back three pointers.. the bucks game was that perfect storm, that kind of happens once in a while that rockets fans understand, dred and expect.. We realize most nights we will hit 30-40% of our shots, and thats good enough to win 90% of times.. There are those 10% times we will go under 30% and if that lines up with a supreme team then we are in trouble.. this is what happened against warriors in game 7 and thats what happened against the bucks.. the system rockets play get them wide open looks all game long, most nights we will shoot around 35%ish..

Yes, Mitchell looked frustrated and overwhelmed.
They don't have the 3 pt scoring needed to overcome the Rockets' mini bursts from Tucker/Green/Harden/Paul/Gordon.

He's not wrong the Jazz have defense and rebs covered already, just need some scorers. If the Jazz offer the Rox Jae Crowder and Ingles for EG the Rox need to do that deal lol.

Dont forget to add House in it.. Also no one is talking about how rockets basically got a season low on free throws and destroyed a team that guard Harden relatively well.. 29 points from 26 shots is a far cry from his usual high efficiency. I am proud the rockets did not get all caught up in non calls, I mean we were getting pushed and shoved all night long, 62 points in the paint and only five fouls that yielded freethrows, but that shows how laser focus the team was at finishing around the rim and not letting those calls distract them..

Man Gordon doesn't get enough love.. we literally have luxury of having a fourth best player that averages 17 ppg.. this guy is literally a bucket less then Klay Thompson... He's been lights out since all star break, and hope he continues with the confidence.

Nope. Gordon is a primary scorer for us. We might need to upgrade but we damn sure shouldn’t downgrade. We have. Enough crowder types on the squads(shumpert)

    CP3
    Harden
    EG
    PJ
    Capella
    Rivers
    Green
    House
    Faried
    9 deep
    Let's stay healthy.

    Game 2
Swap Green for Shumpert ONLY if we need more D

Swap Faried for Nene ONLY if we need to body up on Faried.

But we know defensive effort will consistent against the Jazz bow, its just a matter of maintaining out offensive edge in this series.

So jazz fans are now talking about, how the jazz will try same plan only not gamble too much with Gobert and force Harden to shoot floaters in the paint.. If they can some how manage that, doesn't sound like a bad plan, if they keep him from shooting threes by being on his left hand and run into the paint with Gobert with just out stretched arms and not fully committing.. it will also keep from weak side defenders to over commit and leave open shooters. I think we saw a taste of that against bucks with Harden shooting floaters.. the prblem with this is Harden is no Tony Parker when it comes to floaters, he doesnt seem an automatic..
