If LeBron cant make the playoffs his 1st year in the west, Harden deserves more credit.

Lakers 3-7 since LeBron returned Feb 5.

1-3 before break, 2-4 after the break. This was supposedly when he “activated” according to the LA media after the comeback win vs Houston

I have thoroughly enjoyed the failure of this franchise for the last 6 straight seasons

yeah but you can't really blame lerbon doe. it's the west's fault for being too competitive. lerbon is just a victim. he deserves all our pity.

Lerbon has the Brawn and not the means to Prevail.

Lebron is a great player...and I mean GREAT. But the media continues to parrot stale stories about how he's the best player in the NBA. He hasnt been the best for at least two years now, and the changes in the rules, emphasis on three point shot, etc. have hurt his overall value. That combined with a slight decline in his play have resulted in a diminished Lebron, even as he remains a top 5 or 10 player in the NBA.

Lebron is a very difficult player to place when one thinks of legacy. His biggest accomplishment is the Cavs Finals over GSW, but Kyrie hit every big shot in that series. Last years finals appearance required him overcoming an awful eastern conference (his Cavs *barely* beat a depleted Celtics roster) and then he lost a non-competitive finals. The biggest knocks on Lebron when its all said and done will be:

    - Creation of 'superteams' and inability to win the big one without a stacked Heat squad
    - Feasting on bad eastern conferences after the Celtics declined to get to finals
    - Lack of big shots, especially late in games

Lakers don’t want you to tank if you are trying to tank.

    Get it?

ESPN says Lakers have chance to sign all 5 all stars in july.
I say they will end up with nothing, empty hand.
    Who is signing with them?

Lebron should stick to rap music pod casts at this juncture if you’re the Lakers losing to the Suns. No need to worry about the playoffs

Lakers season ends today after they lose to 4 teams at bottom: suns, knicks, hawks, cavs.

    Rest Lakers players please.

Harden took a bunch of g-leaguers and 10-day contracts and beat the Warriors at Oracle.

LeBron took a bunch of veterans and young talents and got trashed by last place Suns.

Looks like joining the Lakers exposed how weak is the Eastern conference and how overrated LeBron's 8 straight Finals appearances are.

Thank you’re lucky stars we didn’t get Lebron and his drama. Dude is on Dwight level as a locker room cancer

    Lol cmon man .

He's another year older and there were concerns last season about his body starting to break down .

I'm pretty sure if lebron was 27 years old he would be having more success this year regardless of east/west

If they would have me I’d sign with them.

Collect that paycheck and be the premier towel waver in the NBA

Or they can start em and I’d be the bestest tank commander

Is LeBron still going to win Rachel Nichols’ “Best Player Award”?

yes he probably would fare a tad bit better if he were 27....provided he has that obligatory 2 all star teammates help ..and a bunch of 3pt snipers and a bunch of great role players and great vets..but alas.....its hard to have success when you have to play alone and its not leastern conference

The Lakers aren't "any" team. They have good young players that are currently contributing solid numbers. The problem is Lebron's effort on defense. Don't give me that "his age" excuse either, because if he's able to produce a triple double, he can get in a defensive stance & slide his feet. But the BIGGEST problem is (outside of him not being a very good leader), is he's got used to the east where he can take nights off his whole career. Playing in the west is almost a different league built for certain guys & he's not one of them

Huh, why? The Rockets have a significantly better roster than the Lakers.
