Despite trading Tobias, i think the Clippers will still make the playoffs. The Clippers have come along way since the days Charles Barkley use to to go tirades and bash the organization for being cheap....
Do you guys even want that though? I think they should do themselves and the Rockets a solid by buying out JaMychal.
I think the Clippers are done buying out/waiving players, as they already bought out/waived three players in: Marcin Gortat, Milos Teodosic, and Michael Beasley. The Clippers roster now stands at 14 players, so there is no urgency to waive/buyout anyone else.

The Lakers add Lebron James for nothing and don't look like they will make the playoffs. Lakers trade away DLo to dump a bad contract, and he becomes a super star at 22 years old. DLO is now > Kuzma, Ball, and Ingram at this stage. Lakers FO has surpassed Knicks. Cp3 for Bev/Lou/Harell/and a 2018 first round pick that the Clippers flipped for Galo. Those four are the core four of the 2018-19 Clippers. While the Clippers won't win the 2019 title, they set themselves up to look more attractive for 2019 free agency.
