I get the feeling it’s going to be one of those seasons where we underachieve in the regular season but have a decent shot at making noise in the playoffs.

We just aren’t built to win lots of regular season games with our age and limited rotation. Buyout players and trades are can’t miss this year. No more Joe Johnson type strikeouts for Morey I’m afraid.

    You tryna be a ‘99er

Should we have waived all 7 players after 10 games? Maybe they all couldn't "adjust to their role"

Yea it's not Morey fault some of those highly injury prone players are hurt now. No way he saw that coming

this roster has plenty of holes. no where near as complete as last year's roster.

this year we are missing two 3&D forwards to rotate with tucker. ennis and clark shouldn't be rotation players. they're like gerald, a good 10th 11th man). we are also missing a serviceable backup center. nene was still productive when we needed to stay big last year. hartenstein is not that, at least not yet. shows promise but needs to spend this year with clark and qi in the G league.

fill those 3 roster spots with rotation worthy players and we are back to last year's strength. get that backup PG and we are champions. 3-4 rotation spots is a lot to fill on the fly but we have about $21M in knight, chriss, and nene to shop around with.

Cavs are tanking and I see a bunch of guys on their roster that could be available and actually help: Korver, Thompson, Hood, Decker, Nwaba, JR, Hill, Love. I would think the Rockets have the assets/salary/pick to acquire 1-2 of those guys for the bench.

Trade them if you don’t use them.

Clark and Ennius would be good players if they play for cavs or suns. They are not quality players in a championship team. Trade them.

With the way our team is built this year, the expectations should be bottom 4 seed. People's expectations are way too high after last year and don't realize how good everyone else in the west got, while we took 2 steps backwards.

Also, if I were Morey, I wouldn't sweat it at all. If I get fired, I can just go work for another dysfunctional team. There are plenty of them out there looking for a GM. He can even go work for ESPN, where he can tweet all his cryptic messages on the daily.
