The defense is fantastic. It's winning these games practically on its own.

thinking Texans will need to win out to have a chance at a 1st round bye

NE has the tiebreaker, and I don't see them losing more than 1 game the rest of the season

Yet our boys took that L in week 2. Hopefully they don't take them for granted and pounce on them. Deshaun needs a rebound game and put it on them like Luck just did and Brady was unable to do.

Did you see what Tennessee did to them? Just out physical the Patriots like that. That is concerning for a football team.

One reason I like the Texans moving forward is that they are an extremely physical team on both sides of the ball.

They will be in every game as they have been thus far.

We should be concerned about Pittsburgh too. They currently hold the 2 spot. The Texans have the easiest schedule by far. Patriots have Vikings and Steelers left, Steelers have Patriots, Saints (week 16 so might be meaningless game for them), and Chargers. Texans have Titans, Colts, and Eagles left. It's certainly doable.

You cant be physical with something you cant hit. Every time weve played them and most of the time other teams play them, their schemes are far better than anybody elses. I wouldnt underestimate them in the least.

Yep. This is a lot like the 2016 team, winning lots of close games. RAC deserves a lot of credit.

And OB actually deserves credit too for this winning streak, they are playing a safer brand of offense, limiting turnovers and the number of hits Deshaun is taking. Run the ball, make key plays, and let the defense win it for you.

didn't realize the Pats/Steelers still need to play each other, that helps our chances at a 1st round bye

One silver lining positive here is that maybe we'll finally see more of Rankin at G now. That's where he belongs.

Yeah. The guy can be an above average guard in the NFL due to his size and strength alone.

    Massive human.

Silver lining that he is not forced to play tackle. But is it a dark cloud that he still isn't a better guard than the starters at that position? I'm not sure but I think Senio, Fulton, and Mancz are better than Rankin even at guard at this point.

Yes he was good, especially in the run game, but so were the guys he was replacing. The real need is at tackle though. My guess is if any of the guards are injured, the Texans will call up Kyle Fuller and make Rankin the swing tackle.

Kendall Lamm has actually graded out as an above average RT since his move there.

    How awesome is that?

Dustin Hopkins is the real mvp for helping his home team out. Clear Lake still sucks, sorry @J.R.
