The game was Levine-like; there was a scent of "cluelessness" in the air. It is like all football knowledge and instincts just disappeared. The "Cooged it" factor was large. It is almost like SMU sees Cougar red and they are transformed into the vintage Packers. You watch, they will likely stumble around and return to "normal" from here out.
Because of the Applewhite/Briles led abysmal performance, still not sure who is more to blame for the play calling, we are all left here on Monday morning, scratching our heads, wondering where do we go from here.
not really. the only thing that mattered before the loss was getting the west division and playing ucf for the championship. that hasn't changed bc of the loss. ny6 very much still in play.
I wish I was as optimistic as you. If they play anywhere near as bad this weekend against Temple it won't be pretty. If they can get past them chances are that they will poop the bed against either Tulane or Memphis. Defense is just plain bad. If offense is not clicking it seems anybody in the country can beat them.
not really about being optimistic. its what is still infront of them. if they lose the west lead then yeah the opportunity for a ny6 is gone. they still have control of that. the loss to smu didn't change anything nor did it kill the season
