Announced attendance was something like 31k. There was quite a crowd of people hanging out in the concourses... the sun was kind of brutal during the 1st half.
That was confusing for me during the game. I did not realize we had 2 WR's named Singleton. When I checked the roster the FR Singleton is from New Orleans and the SR Singleton is from Crosby. Thought maybe they were related like the Oliver brothers but apparently not.
I recorded it on direct tv at my house in Austin. Got home and i find out it was blacked out in my area. WTF???? Meanwhile my wife saw the game on at her mothers house down the street. They have time warner. Can someone please explain this to me?????
Here in Minnesota, they showed the USC game on both the ABC affiliate and ESPN2 relegating UH to ESPN-Alternate which is in standard definition. I forget how crappy a picture SD is. It was so bad, I chose to watch it on my iPad. Still not sure why they had USC on both those channels as UH-USF was the other game for those 2 channels.
Quite a few teams in the bottom half of top 25 got beat yesterday. It will be interesting to see where UH enters top 25, assuming they do, when rankings come out. I am guessing 18-25 range.
Nice! Now if we can run the table and beat UCF in the conference championship game we should end up with a top 10 ranking and a decent bowl game. Much is going to depend on the defense which looks really good at times but looks really bad more often than good. This season has been a head scratcher for me.
The goal is to get to the aac championship and win that. That’s an automatic ny6 bowl birth. What ed and others in this team wanted for this year. As long as they set themselves up for that aac game, they probably don’t have to run the table the rest of the way based on the other teams records atm. But it’ll be good to host it in Houston of course
