Would really like to see them bring in Demps or Vacarro at safety. Assuming they’d come cheap, Demps especially.

Think we’ll see a CB taken early as well. Kevin Johnson is a big question mark health and now play wise.

I hope "Texans reached out" isn't just Colvin's tweet.

A cheap TE who would've been a great fit on the Texans. Sitting on a pile of cash

Hopefully the TE from Penn State is there in round 3. That guy is an athletic freak

He is LITERALLY the worst blocker I've ever seen in my life. He is worse than the stereotypical WR's that half-ass it.

There was a goal line play for Penn State that was stopped 5 yards behind the line. He was the lead blocker on an off tackle lead run and he genuinely didn't touch anybody from the other team at all. As a run blocker on a run play inside the box. You really have to not want to block to accomplish that. He slides right past guys and half the time doesn't make any contact at all, or at least not enough to slow them down or alter their trajectory at all.

In his NFL.com draft profile, Lance Zierlein puts in:
"Immediate peril". That line slipped past me before I watched him. Afterwords, it defined him He's basically a WR, not a TE. He won't line up inline as a rookie, certainly. Think of him more like Devin Funchess or one of the other big WRs around the league. He might turn out to be great at that, but he won't fill the hole that the Texans have for an inline blocker/receiver. You can draft him to compete with Stephen Anderson, and maybe in a year or two of intense work and attitude adjustment you can put him in the H back role, but you'll still need to find someone else to sign/draft to fill the hole that they have for an old-school TE. I would honestly feel better about putting Will Fuller inline and having him try to block than I would about having Gesicki do it.

None of the guys in this draft are good all-around. That's why I would have preferred a free agent.
