Whats funny is that he gave no compliments to Lillard whatsoever. That being said, **** Lillard. Great game by him though. "Luke was ejected?" *dead silence* "I am a failure as a father." *dead silence*
With 8.8 seconds left in the game.... Dave: Even the Warriors don't have the homecourt...they are still the favorite to win the championship Doris: No Doubt Bill: Never discount homecourt...especially when its texas...we have seen things go down there oh my All: laugh laugh laugh
I can still appreciate Bill Walton calling games in a bizarro way. You just have to go in expecting a ridiculous stream of nonsense. It's basically watching an NBA game on drugs, ironic considering the source. But it was really weird that he would rather homer out for a team his son assistant coached for 2 years than the team with his jersey hanging in the rafters.
When did he start broadcasting NBA games again? Brought back memories, him and Snapper jones were the best combo on NBA on NBC. Que the theme song
He does a lot of Arizona Wildcat games and it's definitely entertaining...and it doesn't hurt that he is a UA fan. Dave Pasch playing off Bill is hilarious.
Man, what was up with no talking about the possessions in progress on a thrilling 4th Q. He was completely distracting. Like this crap
Didn't know this dude was still alive.. damn I was kinda scared for a second lol Jokes aside.. I thought it was entertaining as hell. I'd take him over Bill Worrell anyday haha
Bill Walton: “Hypocrite that you are, for you trust the chemicals in your brain to tell you they are chemicals. All knowledge is ultimately based on that which we cannot prove. Will you fight? Or will you perish like a dog?” Dave: “And there’s a three by Lillard.”
I liked Walton when he used to do NBA. I generally like him doing college broadcasting for the "Conference of Champions!" Last night... was really strange, and I'm not sure if in a good way or not.
I think Bill Walton only works out when he's with the right partner(s). And that combo seemed a little odd last night. Too bad Snapper Jones passed away. That pairing seemed to work pretty well. I always thought he could reign in Walton pretty well whereas they couldn't last night. But he's still entertaining.
