Thiago possibly out for months. They said he's had a slight injury/issue coming back from the Spanish national team, no idea why they'd play him in the useless Anderlecht game then. Terrible decision.
Catalunya Radio saying Özil and Arsenal have agreed to a 20mil winter transfer to Barca. No idea how reliable that source is, but think they're not really known for trash rumors.
Personally I think it's extremely possible. 60%. Özil has said before, he is ok staying in London but would be happy to play for a Top team in Spain again, that is Barca now (1st seed). And it is known that Özil is Plan B for Coutinho. LFC is a major pain in the arse there, demanding the world for him. Candidates: Lemar, Coutinho, DiMaria, Özil, Mahrez.......and so on. Goretzka not now but in the future. If it wasn't for the bad relationship to PSG - Di Maria and possibly Draxler on their way already.
Hes completely right in pretty much everything he's said since coming back, hope we keep him around in some kind of consulting role. Bayern very rarely gamble on prospects, the Sanches case probably doesn't help either.
Köln with a 1:0 victory vs Arsenal, incredible to see how different they're playing internationally vs in Bundesliga.
Yea, 4pt lead and will finish 1st. Then it's 6, 6, 5 with everyone fighting for second place, should be an intense final matchday.
arsenal should hire from within, an ex arsenal great so the players will listen. i recommend nicklas bendtner
According to British tabloid trash papers, who've been saying this for nearly a decade now. I nowadays skip every rumor once I see an English source (and f***in DonBalon, worst source on the planet).
Sure but Arsene Wenger isn't the youngest. I dun hope he is staying until he is 80 or 85 with bad health. His strategies and connections to France are not working as it used to. My source: Nature
The project with Chinese U20 national team playing in Germany's 4th division has been put on hold for the near future. During the first game, four or five activists held up the Tibetan flag, which led to the Chinese team refusing to play and the game being stopped for roughly half an hour. China's government then b***ched about Germany allowing "terrorist" propaganda, whereas German league officials pointed towards freedom of speech. Absolutely embarassing behaviour by the Chinese, simply displaying a flag (without making a ruckus or obnoxiously yelling) shouldn't worry you that much, especially when China's history with Tibet is very questionable. Then trying to dictate Germany how to handle politics on its own turf is just ridiculous, stay out of this if you can't deal with the backlash of your own actions.
If you change the angle, Politics has no place in sports as well. Players want to improve, moderate spectators might want a glimpse. I agree China should go somewhere else like Brazil or Argentina. Merkel and DFB signed a contract in terms of full cooperation and there is a German- Chinese friendship. It will continue in one way or another. Car dealerships in China everywhere, sorry but you and me got no say in this. I already talked this out in some Chinese forums. People handle sensitive matters differently in those countries.
That's not true, since (at least in Europe) the stadium has always been a mirror of current society. And with their growing influence and popularity, players and clubs do have some sort of responsibility. This whole farce has been set up by politicians, not the football associations, so you can't divide it. The Chinese chose Germany, so they have to accept German law (in this case: freedom of speech) and German law doesn't end at the turnstile. If they just ignored the protesters, nobody would even talk about this. On the other side, of course the DFB is either blind or naive or both. Every sane person would've seen something like that coming and their handling has been terrible from the start. Funny... so many clubs and their fans tried to prohibit this deal. Who could've thought that a single Tibet flag was enough to terminate it.
They're saying the project will be resumed after winter break, but the Tibetan initiative already announced new protests for the upcoming games. Will be interesting to watch, China should realize how not reacting to flags is a much smarter way of handling this. But they have a tendency of trying to force their own politics on others, especially when it comes to Western countries supporting Tibet or meeting the Dalai Lama.
