Look man, we get that you hate football or whatever but could you turn down the football trolling in this thread? Especially towards a dude that personally donated 100k and inspired others to donate more? This isn't the place or time.
https://www.youcaring.com/victimsofhurricaneharvey-915053 Current donation total is $1,621,420. Goal has been changed to $2,000,000. #HoustonStrong
Indeed he is. Bill White's failure to calm the evacuation hysteria during Rita was unforgivable. He actually encouraged it. Anybody who still thinks a mass evacuation of Houston would have been the right call is an idiot. I'm no fan of Sylvester Turner but he got this decision right.
If we could get some type of charity peen contest among the billionaires that would be ideal. Drain both of these guys.
Les is also about to cash out on his team and make billions....so it's a little different. I get that you hate Bob McNair for political reasons, but when someone donates a million dollars for a disaster relief fund, they don't look "pathetic" no matter what anyone else gives.
I am not trolling. Someone who really has Houston in their hearts like Les would donate much more than a measly $100k. Keep falling for phoney tricks To each his own. I will take Uncle Les over JJ Fatt all day errday as someone that cares for Houston
I want pure donations, that come from the heart. I'd appreciate $10 from the heart than $100k for marketing purposes and for social status. Period.
Damn where does Lex get that gold. The garm kept telling me he was struggling to get by. Props to Kim K too. Drake where you at? Dreams has given you many happy endings and songs! =)
Just ignore that idiotic troll rockets ftw guy. He's likely looking in the mirror and flexing while taking selfies of his 2 inch biceps right now. Anyone bashing an individual for donating money for an important relief cause at a time like this is lower than low. Just stop feeding that insufferable troll.
You fail to grasp the urgency of the need. You really think millions of families in Houston give a damn whether the donations were motivated by social status??? Go donate your millions and keep it to yourself if that makes you feel better. Enough already.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cn...steen-houston-megachurch-criticism/index.html Article basically said the immediate area around church was not accessible and the church and parking lot had water. Now that they are able to, they are working with the city to be a shelter and distribution center.
Not trying to fuel this, as this thread really should be more about news, and correct me if I'm wrong, but: Wasn't the initial "matching goal" $100k? The goal now has been raised to $2M, meaning he will match that amount. I'm not about trying to scrutinize someone's heart or intent of giving; whatever helps Houston during these times is fine by me.
