Good for him and he finally owns up to it. It's never too late to come back from anything. He's honest here and we should only applaud him for that and learn from it. I just can't comprehend how he is still functioning basically the same after having all those strokes then laying for hours in the room before receiving treatment. Most people have one stroke even a minor one and they are done functioning at a high level.

I've never met Lamar and thus I don't know who and what he's all about. However everything that I've read over the years from the people that really know this cat have nothing but great things to say about him. That he's one of the nicest and generous individuals you'll ever know and that he has a huge heart. This story touched on some of the demons he's been carrying around for years, and the countless loved ones he's lost. The man was in pain, and he was trying to do whatever he could to numb it. "Scumbag"? No just a man who was searching for a way to make the pain go away and went about it the wrong way. He's been given a second chance at life, and for his sake and his children I sure hope he's able to make it through each day without drugs. One day at a time....
