Great draft pick by Maury. What an asset.

If it's any consolation, Jarian Grant (a 23yr PG) is last in the league on 3pt %

    a woeful .062

    shooting 39% overall

and Tyrus Jones hasn't made a shot yet. 0-5

Some one posted a rumor about him needing back surgery months ago. Looks like it was true.

Doesn't matter, because he's not even a D-league talent now. Huge drop off

It's a super small sample size, but he looked like a total bust. You can usually watch the way a guy moves and tell pretty soon if he has a future in this league. He was slow, and not that athletic. Add in the fact that he can't shoot and you don't have a winning combination. Also, if he had the back injury @ Wisconsin, not sure why you spend a 1st rd pick on him knowing this.

No doubt Morey goofed this pick up!

i blame this on the Spurs. They lost to the Pelicans in he regular season finale therefore giving us the 18th pick instead of the 14th. Maybe Morey doesnt pick Decker at 14.

Of course I forgot that Spurs lost gave us the second seed. So I blame the Pelicans for being unexpectedly good last year when we had their pick.

Because BASKETBALL IQ is not one of the factors in his statistic analysis.

Some of you guys need to get a grip lol.

You generally don't want players jumping into surgery if it can be avoided hence the delay between the injury and the announcement. They tried to rehab it and it wasn't professing. As to why he's looked so poor as a rocket, well he's needed back surgery since before he put on a jersey.

This season will be abuts for him but his future is still wide open.

Hope the surgery and rehab goes well, and he comes back better than ever. Ditto DMo.

He has struggled at the 3 and probably won't ever be a good 3 pt shooter. He takes a long time getting his shots off, and the Knicks are encouraging him to shoot more (and faster), But he shot 34% in college so its likely that will improve.

But he has performed well with assists and TOs so far. And at 6-4" he is a better option on defense than any of our current PGs (yes, IMO better that Beverley).

Wonderful. Another wasted first rounder by Morey. What's sad is that on those rare occasions he gets one right like Capela, he tries to park him overseas for a year.
