    Mike D'Antoni.

Not that it worked out particularly well, but there are other reasons for why that went down.

Greg Poppovich was also a recent change (moved from FO to HC), not technically a hire.

Has it ever worked our particularly well? Not that I can recall in recent memory.

Very true. We need direction and discipline. Player's coach is one thing, but even Rudy T was able to instill organization and discipline. This is a chaotic mess.

These guys don't like playing with each other. That's scary.

He inherited a veteran team. Things didn't work out as well when the team became vastly younger.

This is a young/talented/immature team that overachieved last year.... and has absolutely zero drive this year.

At this point, the main responsible for this shame is Morey!

This is the most unfathomable collapse of a Conference Finals team without the loss of a star player that I have ever seen.

Let Daryl coach! Let him be the head coach of this team and see what he does. For long he has been pretending to be a "Basket ball mind" from behind the scene. Once he is done, he and all the annoying Morey only fans can move to another city.

If McHale is not fired tonight, Morey has to go!

Morey deserves heat for the Lawson trade. That move has single-handedly put this season in jeopardy but firing him is not the solution. We need Morey to move Lawson & ideally get a starting PG back from somewhere.

Anytime Harden has a terrible game we have no shot of winning, and unfortunately he's had a lot of bad games this year.

We were winning until he put Harden back in the game...

So I don't totally agree with your statement...

Yeah I have to eat crow after my earlier post. McHale needs to go now. The players have clearly quit on him.

This is on Morey. He needs to fix it right now of he wants to win.

Cut ties with McHale and bring this team a leader.

Can't wait to hear WHAT Moreyball has to say on 790 this week. Apparently Marc Stein asked him to comment on our slump tonight and he declined comment.

The 790 crew won't let him back out of that question. It's time he spoke up.

At some point you have to accept the new normal. The Rockets are going to miss the playoffs, and they won't even have a draft pick to show for it! Denver fans must be salivating at the possibility of that presumed low round first being a lot higher than anyone would have imagined. Cuban must be laughing his ass off.

I've defended Morey since he acquired Harden. His hits have been far grander than his misses, but beyond Harden, beyond McHale, this is on Morey. It's on him. Do I want him fired? No. Not yet, but this is beyond bad. It's embarrassing.

BTW, if the Rockets can't make the playoffs with Dwight, this season, do you give him a max extension if he opts out? He's not going to get healthier or better, so the answer is no, and that's going to look real bad, and every agent will take note of it.
