    "Johnny Football" enters rehab

    To better himself.

Good for him, maybe he can get his act together after all. Lord knows we have our own problems with rehabilitation on our squad.

    Get well soon guys!

"Johnny Football" enters rehab is wrong. It should read, Johnny Football Enters "Treatment". Meanwhile RG3 is punting footballs to himself in a closet, VY works at Wing Stop and Keenum changed my oil 800 miles back.

I should know better than to start threads that have nothing to do with community service. ;)

This actually is an amazing turn around. It was obvious to the world, but not to Manziel, that he had an addiction problem and there was no apparent change forthcoming. There is some self awareness here that I don't think anyone saw coming. He's so young this could change his life. The disease is lifelong and chronic, but people do recover. There is some hope here. I'm not sure that he's a great qb, but this will certainly help him down the road, and at least will find out if he can perform.

"Treatment" vs "Rehab". Sounds more like PR than anything legit to me. I don't really think he has an addiction problem, he just lacks work ethic, isn't professional.

Sad post is sad. Bringing up 3 qb's from rival schools that have all had more successful careers to this point than poor poor Johnny.

Good for him that he's finally getting the help he clearly needs. Whether it's coke or alcohol or whatever it is, he's young enough to get his s*** together and still attempt something resembling a career in the NFL. Learning a little (or a whole lot) humility wouldn't hurt him as well.

His career is on the line. Clearly substance abuse problems have taken him down. Sobriety or bust. The "rolled up dollar" picture was a dead give away of what was going on.

If he really cared he would have realized this and tried to get help before attempting to accept a multi-million dollar contract from a team. This is just a PR stunt that is easy to read right through.

So you legitimately think this is a serious thing and Johnny is really attempting to clean up his act
