    And he isn’t wrong.

    The OL has been good.

Bill O’Brien has stated since day 1 with Deshaun that there is a fine line of letting him play his way and protecting himself.

The coaching staff has enabled his behavior.

Pat Mahomes holds on to the ball a while at times as well.

I’ve been worried about Watson...keep taking these hits and he might end up pulling an Andrew Luck down the road

It was noticeable in the Austin paper this morning: certified card carrying dumbass Kirk Bohls wrote a whole article about all of the great young QBs in the NFL...he named about 8 guys and Watson was not mentioned at all.

What did we give up for Watson? What did he do in only playoff game he played in? Osweiller could have done just as good in that playoff game.

Link that one if you have it handy? I could use a sensible chuckle, and Osweiller is comedy gold.

Drafted 3 or 4 and of course the one Watson likes the best is the street FA.

    He isn’t the only one.

A friend of mine that was born into the NFL and follows it as a journalist for 30 years still doesn’t have Watson among the top half dozen young QB’s. He has Mitch Trubisky above Watson.

I don’t get it honestly. Mahomes is on another planet but Watson is basically Russell Wilson.

I wish he would get rid of the ball quickly and be more decisive. He is to blame for half, if not more of the sacks.

He looks for the big play wayyyy too much.

10-15 yards per plays are too, Deshaun.

    Dudes a stud

Only young QB that anyone can honestly say is better is Pat Mahomes.

He’s already proven in wins and stats that he’s the second best young QB in the game.

26 games to get to 50 TDs!!!!

That’s big time, only Mahomes, Kurt Warner and Dan Marino did it faster.

He’s got some stuff to clean up like getting the ball out a tad quicker on some plays and changing plays at the line.

But that’s comes with time I mean he’s played 26 game and a half a game.

    He’s doing better than good.

I keep reading where Watson holds the ball too long and is the cause of many of his sacks. Did he hold the ball too long when he dropped the ball off to Akins for the long TD?

His throwing hand was cut, he was injured. Let’s see how he performs this year.
