Yeah, I heard ours sold out the last 2 days, so I'm just gonna wait for the hype to die down.

BTW, how can a chain as big as Popeyes have such a terrible website? I wanted nutrition info, and couldn't navigate to it on the site, but using Google was easy, but they haven't posted the nutrition information about the Chicken Sandwich yet.

I tried it when that commercial with the regular spokeswoman 1st aired claiming that "she has done it!" Had it a few times over the past few months and yes, she did it. I'm not a mayonnaise fan so I get mine dry with pickles which is the style of Chick-fil-a but I might try spicy mayo in the future.

Bugs me that CFA does not have onions in their restaurant. The spicy deluxe sammich, minus pickles, plus sweet hot sriracha sauce, would be perfect with some red onion on it.

You'd think so, right? Car has a bad oil leak and needs a new air filter hose, so it's pretty much undrivable. I've been car shopping for a few months now, but I live in Upper Kirby, und uber and lyft work just fine. Only times I miss my car is when I have to drive out to the burbs, but even then I only spend around $200/month, which is less than a car payment.

I'll never know.. I choose not to wait 10 minutes in the Popeyes drive thru... Just to get to the window and wait 3 minutes... Just to have them tell me to pull around to the front for 5 minutes... Just to go back inside because they didn't give me no damn ketchup and mayo...

They put the calories on the signage at the restaurant. Like 700 calories a sandwich or something close to that.

If Popeye's is out and you want something similar, Fuddruckers chicken sandwich is a good one. It's larger than Chick-fil-a and has that crunch that Popeye's fans are talking about.

Deliveries, working from home and ride-shares have drastically changed my mindset on helicopters. Like @Roscoe Arbuckle said, it's cheaper to just pay someone else for their transpo. I only really drive locally now, usually within five miles of my house. Now, if they had helicopter ride-shares.....

The CFA here did the same when they opened last year. They also have a double lane drive thru.

Clipboards or touchscreens with a credit card swipe? The CFA's around Houston have their employees outside taking food orders on touchscreens.

I went to Popeye's a few hours ago not knowing about the "chicken shortage" to try the sandwich. I drove up to one of those combo Popeye's/Burger King shops. the line for the drive-thru looked like it had about 20 cars. I thought "these people can't be this lazy", so I parked at one of the parking spots and went in. The line was backed up to the door -- must've been 20-30 people in line. I just left. I don't need a sandwich that bad. lol.

Yes you do. All those people are winning and now you're at home eating cheez'its.
