As much as this is hilarious, any real potential trade ideas?

I don't know if I fully believe this. Sure, one exect might have said it, but the look of it makes it seem like this is the norm and not a cherry picked statement.

There are fringe, small market teams who would welcome LeBron in the same way that there are small nations that welcome the Olympics. LeBron will come in, they will renovate everything from top to bottom, and then when he leaves the team will be in massive debt. There are a lot of teams who would sign up to be on that train.

Jeannie Buss is an idiot and the main reason the Lakers are where they are right now.

Buss leaked this out to show Lubron that his time as GM was over.
First he obtains certified scrubs ,then had his boy leak out the AD trade drama...

Hopefully he can now focus on playing basketball next season.....

What qualifies Jeanie buss to do ****? She has been a failure as an owner. I have a hard time LeBron was the one who wanted a bunch of non shooters brought in.

    Process of elimination time:

    1. Has to be an Eastern Conference team because LeBron obviously can't handle being in the West.

    Down to 15 teams

    2. Has to be a team where the head coach can be questioned, second-guessed, and eventually fired by December.

That should eliminate Boston and Milwaukee; 13 teams left

    3. Has to be a team that isn't owned by Michael Jordan.

    Eliminates Charlotte; 12 teams left

    4. Has to be a team with enough caproom to sign another superstar to prop LeBron up, assets to trade for another superstar to prop LeBron up, or both.

That eliminates Detroit, Miami, Orlando, Washington. 8 teams left

    5. Can't be a small market team

Crossing off Indiana. 7 teams left

    6. Can't be Cleveland

    6 teams left

    7. Going back to #3, can't be a team where Jordan is considered a God

    Eliminates Chicago. 5 teams remain.

    8. The team would need LeBron to put it into immediate championship contention in order to make it worthwhile to make a trade (e.g. give up assets)

Bye bye Knicks, Atlanta and Brooklyn. 2 teams remain.

    9. The team would give no F*cks about getting LeBron given its current sad state.

Welcome back, Knicks! 3 teams remain

    Knicks:
2019 1st, Mitchell Robinson and Frank Smokes. Knicks absorb LeBron's salary and still have enough room to sign a 2nd star

    Sixers:
Ben Simmons and a future protected 1st.

They renounce the rights to all of their cap holds (including Tobias Harris). Butler opts into the last year of his deal.

    Toronto:
Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, future protected 1st. Kawhi changes his mind and re-signs with Toronto. Gasol decides to opt into the final year of his contract.

I'm sure Mitch Kupchak handing gigantic contracts to Mozgov and Deng would have nothing to do with where the Lakers are right now.

Give it a few minutes. Once he tosses back a few, he'll give the info, no charge.

    B.S.

The Rockets, Trailblazers, Raptors, Sixers, Thunder, Nuggets and Jazz would all give the maximum number of #1 picks under the rules to add James this summer.

Daryl Morey would trade his family to be able to add LeBron to Paul and Harden.

I believe that James has a no trade clause as well.

    It isn't happening.

In my quick google search, i don't think Lebron has a no-trade clause.

Here's the thing though: to even contemplate trading LeBron means that either Jeanie Buss, Pelinka, Magic or a combination of the 3 somehow miscalculated what kind of relationship they were going to get with LeBron, Rich Paul, and the rest of LeBron's team. Like, you REALLY didn't know what you were getting yourself into when you met with LeBron last summer?

No, Lebron is. He wants to do everything but be held accountable if he loses

You are correct, he was not eligible for a no trade clause.

I still really do not see it happening..... It would be hilarious if he was dealt back to Cleveland or perhaps Minnesota.
