how is nba ratings this year in general? i haven't given 1 second of my time to the nba after last year's inside job. could others have followed?
It would be hilarious if one reason for the low ratings was the Rockets building an insurmountable lead in the first half.
I still push my job to watch rockets.. if I'm working ill put my phone to the side and follow the rockets game on league pass on my phone... You can always make time for rockets.
outside of rockets fans, no one wants to watch James Harden play basketball. It's been imprinted in their minds, just read any social media comments on Harden

What? Lmao If they dont want to watch Harden basketball, they are not real basketball fans. They know nothing about basketball. Just a bunch of pure haters.
Even in Houston people barely care about the rockets. My friends follow the rockets, but my older colleagues just don't care.
Even the owner doesn't care enough about the Rockets to prioritize winning over Luxury Tax Savings. .
Football scrubs beat Tillman's scrubs? Big deal. Bob O'Brien's scrubs beats Tillman's scrubs too. Houston fans care more about Bob O'Brien's scrubs than Tillman's scrubs anyways.
Can we even assess popularity and viewership based on ratings anymore? Do they take into account people watching via league pass, or more importantly bootlegging a stream? The NFL is lagging in most major metrics aside from Nielsen ratings. With the politics involved, concerns over CTE, and continued deficit in international market penetration compared to basketball and baseball, they should be concerned.
Football? Where? Oh! You mean that American sport that it is called FOOTball but is played with THEIR FREAKING HANDS.
Its opening weekend for that league. I doubt if those numbers will remain high. Doubt if that football league will have high numbers this weekend and might not get a second season.
