I'm sure he has a ton of offers but is just being really super selective! Right Ian Rapoport?!

ESPN's Mike Reiss doesn't expect the Patriots to sign free agent Dez Bryant. With Julian Edelman suspended, the Patriots are down their top receiver for the first month of the season, but are expected to stay in-house to fill Edelman's targets. Bryant's free-agent market has been dead since turning down a multi-year offer from Baltimore in April. He's waiting for training camp to sign with a team.

If we could get him cheap on a one year 'prove it' contract that would be cool with me -- I think his decline has more to do with the QB than him losing a step. He would be a nice fit with Hopkins -- especially in the red zone where they would be a terror for defenses.

You guys advocating this literally have NO clue about what you are talking about. This is one of the most childish, arrogant and dumbass players ever to play for the Cows and that's saying a lot. He has to be constantly "managed" (translation: needs a sitter), his head is constantly stuck up his own ass, he has the emotional maturity of a 3 month old and he constantly loses it during meetings and games. Why anyone would want this fool is beyond me.

a prove it deal would worry me for a WR, as it means he will need to demand touches to prove his worth

No doubt this guy has serious mental issues. His background explains much of it. Unfortunately, a lot of kids are growing in similar situations. His mother was a drug addict.

Even though I’m ok if he were signed, I’d like to know what insane catches you are referring to...

I'm completely indifferent when it comes to Dez I could see it being a good or bad thing.

he's taking too long to make a decision. Maybe he still wants star money and no one is willing to give it to him, rightfully so. Surprised the packers haven't picked him up.

I don't think there is much interest in picking him up at any cost around the league. He really is a head case diva so his potential damage to team chemistry is a factor you have to weigh.

I don't think we need Deshaun Watson being yelled at on the sidelines of a crucial game by Dez.
