I think it is good coaching by Kerr. Brilliant from a psychological point of view.
He wanted his players to focus and get more passionate.

I'm pretty positive that I've read many reports of D'antoni not ever calling out plays during games. Maybe only during time outs?

It's the playoffs where D'Antoni can become elite from very good.

Agree. Some posters' hate here is so childish. He said he was trying to reach to his players and that was one of the things he thought of.

    Here he explains it:

I thought it was an outstanding idea. Best way to get players motivated and invested.

They won by 46 points. Whatever he did or didn't do, it worked.

    exactly.

Smh it is made a big deal and Suns fans and players are offended?
Respect isn't for granted it is earned. If a team loses by 40-50 points all the time then why would it deserve to be respected as a formidable opponent?

Same as other coaches give 30 minutes to rookies against the Suns or they rest up their stars , that's the same thing.

Yeah, but what does that say about the coach when the best thing for the team is for him to leave? To me it sounds a bit like panicking...he’s trying to do “something...anything” to motivate this team and whatever he’s tried apparently isn’t working. Let’s put it this way, would he do this in the finals? Of course not.

What happened in this sequence? I don't think the question was ever asked about what went on here between Paul and that punkazz Kerr.
