I'd guess not? Total guess, but O'Brien seemed to appreciate the job Raye did in bringing in Tuesday tryouts to churn the bottom of the roster/improve it.

Yeah, apparently Watson is the best rookie QB of all time and already the best QB in the league. How many points do you think he would put up under Shanahan? 50 a game? 60 maybe?

Yep. Judging by all the HOF players they’ve acquired for their current franchise. Unbeatable.

No.... because In the back of our collective minds is the belief brighter days are ahead with Watson in 2018. If Watson struggles in 2018; the boo birds will be really bad towards the Texans organization.

    This.

9-7, 8-8... “Doesn’t matter Brian” doesn’t cut it. BOB has had YEARS already. This organization is too complacent with mediocrity.

Watson takes a big step back and BOB can go coach at Pitt or whatever college he suckers into over paying him.

The GM has been there a month, his assistants a week... which HOFers did you expect them to acquire in that time frame?

All McNair cares about is where he stands on the Bathroom Bill.

Who knows what might have happened, but I think we can assume it would have been better with a competent coaching staff and a competent O line. For sure those losses that BOB caused while Watson was healthy would have been wins.

He's also keenly interested in making sure that inmates don't end up running our prisons...

Watson's 2017 game play is arguably the greatest "short stretch" in sports history, all things considered. A rookie, playing his very first career games, with a suspect coach, and crap o-line and defense.

There's little doubt he will shine... IF he's playing. The injury situation/history is worrisome.

Just hoping we can draft two average starters, and sign a couple above average FAs, this offseason.

Doesn't help that we have the worst OL in the league too

I gotta say, their future is bright. They will shore up the rest of the pieces within the next season or two.

Nothing is for sure in life.

I wanted BOB fired for giving Brady the ball back with a chance to win the game and then he turns around and basically does the same thing with Wilson.

AT LEAST 3 Watson INTS were on final play/4th down Hail Mary leaves. Those DEFINITELY deserve asterisks, i wouldn't even count those in the stats.

Watson also had one of the BEST QBR ratings in NFL (a stat I DISLIKE actually) but shows that different ratings can show different things. I think just looking at games it's undeniable Watson is a playmaker/drive extender. And the offense is a different animal with him in there. I think even Watson's bottom "floor" ability makes him a keeper and more interesting product regardless of record

Those 4 drafts and 4 free agency periods were awful.

OL and defense were dismantled. No depth at all.
