I will say this defense is so versatile. Can play big, can go small, have sub package pass rushers (given Clowney's health), has secondary depth. Might be the best defense in the league and that is not hyperbole.
He was good his first year, only had 55 attempts last year but was just as good as "solid" Alfred Blue and hasn't even really been given a chance this year in Denver.
Just to be clear, I'm not really singing Montee's praises, but I like him better than Blue and Grimes.

Ball averaged 2.1 ypc this preseason. Their other backs averaged 7.4, 4.1, and 3.5 For the Texans, Blue averaged 4.8, Grimes 3.1, Polk 2.8, Hilliard 2.3.
Ball is trash. If Kubiak can't make him a good RB, no one will. That's Kubiak specialty. And I'm annoyed that Levitre was traded to the Falcons for a conditional 6th rounder. I would have done that in a heart beat if I were the Texans.
Of course I haven't seen Ball as a professional , but his college career was outstanding. And he was a Badger and we have had pretty good luck with Badgers, but: http://www.milehighreport.com/2015/...ee-ball?_ga=1.202014673.1597891982.1441454565 Who could have ever predicted Ball and Trent Richardson' s failing?
I'm guessing the Texans would have had to overpay for Levitre since we're in the same division as the Titans.
Yeah, Probably a guaranteed 6th or possible conditional 5th rounder. Either way, it still would have made our o-line depth a lot better.
