If that's on Family filter or Safe Search it seems fine to me. If not, then it's a private firm that can edit however they want. You can always go to 4chan or Encyclopedia Dramatica to get your double n's on.

Don't those image-search engines just use some kind of algorithm to look for certain light/dark/color patterns to match the searches? It's not like it was a deliberate thing, I don't think. That being said... ouch.
They didn't make the algorithm good enough. But the problem is apparently they didn't test it well enough.

It might have been her changing up her mouth/lips area that more resembles that bulbus portion of a gorilla face....plus her hair is jacked
I suppose it is due to the dark black hair surrounding her face. I'm curious if there is any evidence that this is a common occurrence with their photo tag algorithm, or it just happened to hit a corner case on this particular photograph.
