    If this is in fact true, how will the chemistry be with Ariza afterwards if this plan fails?

    By being there, Dwight/Harden are letting Ariza know that they're perfectly fine with letting him go since that's the only way to sign LMA.

    Obviously, Ariza is just a (good) role player and LMA is a star, but I would feel a bit disrespected if I were him.

    Any other off season and I'd be in a steamy bubble bath, eating Lorna Doone cookies and refreshing my PalmPilot with giddy anticipation. But this free agency period seems dark and full of terrors. Leery to say the least...

    It's the NBA man not college this is business no player is safe unless your a franchise guy. Plus he's got 8.2 mil reasons a year on why he wouldn't hold a grudge.

    Is it midnight east coast time, or does it have to be midnight in the time zone the meeting takes place? 3 hours for east coast, for whatever that's worth.

    Yes. Reason they got rolo was lma. He demands a center that is capable. And its why the spurs will have trouble convincing him if they trade slitter and the lakers have to go find a good center. No ifs or buts.
