    I dunno. I've been less and less impressed by him as the weeks have gone by. His swing looks like it's gotten longer since he came up.

    I'm just incredibly frustrated by guys watching hitters' pitches and swinging at pitchers' pitches. It's no wonder they lead the civilized world in strikeouts.

    I have no idea why Hinch didn't PH Singleton for Carter right there, at least you can see what Singleton might do in that AB.

    Anybody catch when Brown said that Altuve was the first player in the majors this season to hit 2 doubles and steal 2 bases in a game (accomplished in last night's game), and Ashby responded "Oh I just find that hard to believe...I've gotta think that somebody like Rickey Henderson or Bobby Bonds did that at some point in their careers."

    Brown must just tune him out a lot of the time, because he didn't even correct him.

    Got in late... didn't participate in batting practice... perhaps he would have been available later in the game had it gone to extras.

    You're correct Nick that he did get in late, but Hinch had him on deck pinch-hitting for Conger with Tucker at the plate.

    Can someone tell me what is ashby's deal? I mostly listen to the guys on the radio and they do a really good job- I think Sparks is one of them
