Vipers trainer Long Lam said Capela's groin injury is a chronic one. It's a degenerative issue. Surgery could be an option, but the Rockets have chosen a conservative approach to the injury, which initially occurred during the preseason in October. Capela's minutes-restriction has yet to exceed 30 because of the cautious approach. http://www.themonitor.com/sports/rg...cle_44fbedea-6245-11e3-bae2-0019bb30f31a.html
I think they should shut him down instead of risking more injury. A specialist in this field should be consulted, and if he needs surgery it should be done.
No kidding, better to fix it now, than later..but I guess at this point maybe after the season....a few weeks won't make a difference. DD
hate that the Rox hands are tied up when we need front court help...can't recall Clint with his injury..can't waive dorsey for another signing...
His minutes are decreasing because he is hurt. I am surprised that he has been playing through a chronic injury all year around.
