I don't care about the 50 or 90, but to volume shoot 50 from 3 is amazing. However it doesn't seem like he's going to do it. He's at 45% for february (which is still very good) and on that pace, he'll finish below 50 for the year.
Remember, both Calderon and Kerr did 50/40/90 while playing 82 games, except for the fact they failed to qualify on FT% (not enough FTM) or not enough 3s. Korver is close to not qualifying either. He is very close to dropping out of FT qualification. He has to make 125 and he's on track for only 130. If he misses three games he's out. Or if he shoots less. And this all becomes an asterix
but he made 3 FTs, which helps him on his bid to qualify for this stat. That's what I'm following. remember, he's got to make 125 FTs, or nothing he does will be official. He's only qualified for FTs once in his career.
I'd give my left nut to get Korver on this team over Ariza. Trevor Ariza is shooting .377% from the field. He is in the bottom 3 players in the league in terms of FG%, who have shot at least 300 or more FG attempts this season. Thats freaking pathetic. The only 2 players worse then his are Kobe at .373% and Trey Burke at .369% Ariza is also #79 is the league, out of a list of player who at least make one 3 or more a game. Yet is # 4 on the list on players who have attempted the most 3pt shots this season with 380 shots. Sorry, this is an Ariza rant is a Korver thread, but I needed to blow off some steam of how disappoint I am.
Uh oh Korver FG% is now 49% And Korver has fallen off the FT list, because he doesn't qualify for the stat (not enough FTMs)
